Get Rich Quick!! Do These 7 Things In Your 20s and Enjoy Your 30s As A Rich Person (READ)

One of the most amazing facts I have come to realize is how well people put effort into building wealth in their 30s and expects a speedy result when they should have done this in their 20s.

It is crucial you know that you are never too young to set a course for wealth and success. Whether you’re just launching into your career or working toward your next big break, now is the time to start making your vision a reality.
There’s no foolproof fast pass to becoming rich. But instead of daydreaming about that six-figure (or, even better, seven-figure) income, here’s information you can put to good use. Put these steps into action now, and you’ll be laying the groundwork in your 20s for an overflowing bank account in your 30s.
1. Have A Plan Of Action
If you want to become wealthy, you’re going to need a plan. You’re going to need a budget that you can stick with for the long haul. The key to any budget is that it’s a plan to help you live below your means and spend mindfully — which is crucial to accruing wealth.
Sticking with your budget also ensures you’re paying down and eliminating your “bad debt,” especially on high-interest credit cards. Your budget should set aside money for your cash reserve to cover monthly expenses and help you build an emergency fund to cover the unexpected.
2. Maximize Your Earning Potential
If you want to become wealthy, you’re going to need to focus on making career decisions that will help you earn more money. Finding ways to increase your earnings and bring in more income is fundamental to becoming rich. Is it time you asked for a raise? Are there better-paying career opportunities you should be looking at?
Ask yourself if you would be able to earn more with a degree or credential in your field. What can you do to maximize your earning potential? Also, make sure you’re working hard and giving your all to whatever job you’re doing.
3. Build Multiple Streams Of Income
You’ll never become wealthy on one income. Anyone who is serious about getting rich needs to build multiple income streams. I used the word build because it is not a day thing. Investments are built over time. This can include a side hustle or a second or part-time job.
You can start a home-based business, perhaps in an area you’re already interested in? Do you have an idea for a product you can create, or something you’re passionate about that you can monetize, like selling items on Jumia, Konga or another online store? Be creative and think outside of the box.
4. Bring Down Your Living Expenses
To build wealth, you’ll need to live within your income. Most wealthy people don’t drive expensive cars or live in mansions. They keep their living expenses as low as possible so they can use their surplus income to continue investing in wealth-building opportunities.
The more money you have to reinvest, the faster you can accumulate wealth. Ruthlessly cut your expenses on things that don’t serve you. Look for ways to reduce your bills, including your energy bills and your credit card rates. You may even consider getting rid of your vehicle and using carpool options or public transportation.
5. Own Your Own Enterprise
If you want to become rich by your 30s, you should be looking at wealth-building opportunities that pay off quicker than traditional long-term investments. One of the best ways to do this is to get into the entrepreneurial game and own your own business. Once you own a business, you have unlimited potential to earn, although you also assume more risk.
Owning your own business comes with tax benefits that you don’t get when you’re someone else’s employee. Consider what areas you know best or are interested in learning more about, and look into business opportunities.
6. Take Risks
If you’re serious about becoming rich, you’re going to need to step out of your comfort zone and recognize that the path to success is through uncertainty.
Traditional paths, like having a steady job and a fixed check, are safer, but wealth often comes through taking calculated risks. Don’t let fear hold you back. If you dream of something more, learn to embrace different possibilities.
7. Invest In Yourself
You are your own best resource. In order to increase your options and discover your best opportunities, you must invest in yourself. That means taking a hard look at your talents, interests and skills, and considering the best ways to maximize your potential.
This may mean spending money and time on your education and working to increase and refine your skills. You’ll need to branch out, broaden your mind and connect with others. You should be gaining experience and looking for valuable opportunities that will help you build your financial buoyancy.
Put these simple steps into action and watch things fall in place for you.
Thank you for reading.

Ways To Avoid Being Scammed By Yahoo Boys

In order not to fall victim to internet fraudsters, you have to read this information on how to stay safe.
It is no longer news that ‘scams are real’ and ‘scammers exist’, they are humans like us and they are apparently in every corner of the world.

Down the memory lane, the term “yahoo” was localized in Nigeria in the early 2000s as the name for ‘internet fraud’.
While the internet has made it simple for us as humans to connect easily, the simplicity has brought in bigger challenges.
The internet offers us a wide range of benefits but sadly, internet fraudsters devise clever plans to defraud millions of people every day.
Online fraud and scams operate under many different disguises and go by many names such as yahoo-yahoo, cyber-crime, internet fraud, online crime, e-crime.
Here are a few facts about online scammers:
1. They are very patient strategically looking for a perfect time to strike.
2. Older women are usually the ‘chief target’ for scammers.
3. These scammers are usually too quick in trying to convince you about his or her identity backing it up with fake ‘proof’
4. In Nigeria, scammers who are usually referred to as ‘Yahoo boys’, make use of voodoo or traditional powers called ‘Yahoo Plus’ or ‘Yahoo Plus Plus’.
5. The most common type of ‘Yahoo Plus’ or ‘Yahoo Plus Plus’ is ‘do as I say’ which means you’ll be manipulated to give in to their demands, and only come to your senses to realize the errors after you’ve been defrauded.
6. Everyone is potential target for scammers and they are getting increasingly sophisticated in their attempts to get your money.
7. Examples of the scam used by internet fraudsters are; Job offer scams, lottery scams, beneficiary scams, online dating scams, charity fraud scams e.t.c.
So to avoid being scammed by these fraudsters via the aforementioned means above, here are few tips to eliminate the risk:

1. Spot/Detect Imposter

Scammers often pretend to be someone you trust; a family member or a company you do business with. Don’t send money or give out personal information in response to an unexpected request.

2. Be ‘Red Alert’ To The Fact That Scams Exist

When dealing with uninvited contacts from people or businesses, whether it’s over the phone/mail/social networking site, always consider the possibility that the approach may be a scam.

3. Know Who You’re Dealing With

If you’ve only ever met someone online or are unsure of the legitimacy of a business, take some time to do a bit more research.
If a message or email comes from a friend and it seems unusual or out of character for them, contact your friend directly.

4. Do Not Open Suspicious Texts, Pop-Up Windows Or Click On Links

Be careful not to click on spammed links which could lead to compromising your personal details.

5. Keep Your Personal Details Secure

It is necessary to advice that you keep your passwords and pin numbers secured. Be very careful about how much personal information you share on social media sites.

6. Review Your Privacy Settings On Social Media

If you use social networking sites, such as Facebook, be careful who you connect with and learn how to use your privacy and security settings to ensure you stay safe.

7. Be Extremely Cautious When Dealing With Anyone You’ve Met Online

Scammers use dating websites, social media, and many other sites to reach potential targets. They can quickly feel like a friend or even a romantic partner, but that is part of the tactics to get you to trust them.

8. Don’t Be Pressured To Act Immediately

Scammers typically try to make you think there’s a limited time offer. They want to push you into action before you have time to think, it’s never a good idea to make an important decision quickly.

9. Fake Social Media Profiles

Some scammers create fake profiles and send you a friend request or message. If you respond, they then send you offers to make quick money or invest, or ask for money to help them with trouble they are having.
They could also gain access to your personal information and steal your identity.

10. Text Message To Update Your Bank Verification Number

If you get a text message on your cell phone from your bank saying “there’s been a problem with your bank verification number (BVN), and you need to call right away with some account information”, the truth is your supposed “bank” is a scammer hoping you will reveal your account information.

Ways To Stay Motivated During Difficult Times

Though you may feel that it is easy to say ‘stay motivated’ but very difficult to implement in practical life, you can still try to stay positive towards your life, no matter how weird the situation is.
To keep yourself motivated, you just need to remind yourself of a few things. Here we list them.

1: Refresh Your Mind
Staying healthy doesn’t only mean physical fitness. To stay healthy mentally is equally, rather more important. Try to move your focus from the points of stress. Listen to your favorite music; pay a visit to a park, seaside, or any of your favorite places; remember the happy memories of your life… in simple words, do whatever you can do to make your mind relaxed! Even when you are busy, a few minutes of keeping your mind relaxed can double your energy levels.

2: Keep Your Health on Top Priority
‘Health is wealth’ is a universal proverb. No matter who you are, where you are, and what you are doing, keep your health on top of your priority list. If you stay healthy, you can maintain your efficiency at high levels, but if you compromise on your health, you will face problems in your personal and professional life. Take a balanced diet, take proper rest and sleep for at least 6-8 hours a day to keep your mind and body working efficiently.

3: Keep Your Approach Optimistic
Having a positive approach towards your life is itself an act of motivation. Learn to appreciate yourself; try to ignore the negativities around you; focus on the positive aspects. Read inspiring quotes, motivational stories, talk to those people around you who encourage you to do more, who themselves have an optimistic approach.

4: Spend Time with ‘Yourself’
It has been rightly said that no one can be your best friend except your own self. No matter how busy your schedule is, try to spare sometime for yourself as well. Stay quiet, talk to yourself, this could be the best remedy to freshen up your mind.

5: Be Decisive
This is one of the lacking that demoralizes people at times. You must learn to be decisive even in odd times. Hiding yourself under the table will not protect you from the risks. Learn to come out, take a decision, no matter even if you are not sure about its pros and cons. Especially if you refresh your mind frequently, you may surely take the right decisions. It will be you who is going to decide whether you are going to be a victim or a victor.

6: Seek Suggestions
It is important to seek advices from those who are concerned with you, i.e., your friends and family. You will feel much relaxed if you have a good listener with you. Try to spend time with them, speak out your problems to them, and ask them to advise. They may help you going beyond their capacity.

7: Do Proper Planning
Planning is a requirement for each and every aspect of your life. It is mostly the improper planning that creates chaotic and tensed situations, making you feel stressed. Learn to prioritize your work depending upon its urgency; check whether anybody else can do it in place of you. When you are making a plan, you are actually thinking of the entire process from start till end; therefore, you can come up with new ideas and ways to release the pressure from you.

8: Analyze Your Performance
Instead of giving others the chance to monitor your performance, try to analyze yourself on your own. Learn from your mistakes, avoid repeating them again, and adapt ways to improve your performance. When you spend some time alone, you can easily evaluate what you have done, what you have to do, and how to do it. You can think of some new ways to achieve your goals.

9: Cherish Happy Moments
No matter how small they are, cherish each and every moment of bliss. An appreciation, recognition, acknowledgement, an award, or mere timely accomplishment of any task; try to reward yourself for any special moment that comes in your life.

10: Remind Yourself Your Achievements
Whenever you feel dull, exhausted, and demoralized, remind of yourself of your achievements. This will create a positive impact on your psychology. You will then realize your hidden potentials; will realize it was you who has achieved previous targets. Look at your previous shields, certificates, pictures of those special events, and say to yourself, ‘I can do it’. You will surely feel a new energy in yourself.

Final Words
These tips are not for your guidance in real sense, rather these are just a few aspects which, if remembered, can surely boost your motivation. Remember the saying by Leonardo da Vinci, “Obstacles cannot crush me. Every obstacle yields to stern resolve. He who is fixed to a star does not change his mind”. So think positive, stay optimistic, be confident, and reach your goals!

Money Mistakes You Should Avoid In Your Life

#Money Mistake 1:
Never borrow money that accrues interest to start a business (except if you are paying for it through your salary); only borrow to grow your business. This is because business takes a long time to gain ground and begin making profit, yet most loans repayments have to be made within a month of taking the loan or even earlier. Therefore, never borrow money to start a business expecting that the business will generate income to pay back the borrowed money plus the interest.

#Money Mistake 2:
Never spend money you haven't received. Don't even promise someone money based on a promise you have from someone else. If someone tells you: "Ayodeji, come to my office tomorrow at 9am and pick #30K"don't go out to buy items on credit based on this promise, with the hope that you will pay off your creditor when the promised money comes; it may not come as promised and this will leave you in problems with your creditors.

#Money Mistakes 3:
If you want to save, whenever you receive money, don’t start spending hoping that you’ll save what remains. Normally what remains is zero because as long as money to spend is available, the numerous things you can spend it on are also available. And things to spend on even incite their 'relatives' so that you spend even more than you had planned.
Before you spend any money, put your savings aside then spend what is left after saving.

#Money Mistake 4:
When you get an opportunity to meet a very wealthy person, never ask for money. Ask for ideas on how to make money. They may even choose to give you money on their own after seeing that your ideas are great, but let getting money from them never be your objective.

#Money Mistake 5:
Keeping your seed instead of planting it. Many people stop at saving. It's very, very difficult to save and have all you need to maintain your lifestyle especially after retirement. When you save, your savings are seed; plant it. When you just keep the seed (saving money) some seeds begin to die (eaten by inflation and the like). That's why I recommend that you read about the different types of investment vehicles you can use to grow your savings. I am not necessarily talking about putting the money in a business, because you can easily lose money in business. I am talking about putting it in an investment.

#Money Mistake 6:
Never lend someone money you are not willing to lose. By the time you lend someone money, be contented in your heart that should the person fail to pay, you will not die. You should not even lose that person's friendship if they fail to repay the money you lent them. If you feel the person might fail to pay you and this will not affect your relationship with them, then lend them money. If their failure to pay would make you hate this person’s entire clan, please advise the person to go to the bank.

 #Money Mistake 7:
Never append your signature to guarantee someone on a financial matter if you are not willing or able to pay the money on their behalf. Do I have to explain that one? No, it's self-explanatory.

#Money Mistake 8:
Avoid keeping money you don't intend to use in the short-term within easy reach. For instance, don’t walk with #100K in your pocket when all you plan to do in a day costs #20K. Like I mentioned in Money Mistake 3, there are always expenses available to gobble any money that is within reach, so if you don't want to lose it, put it away in a safe place.

#Money Mistake 9:
Avoid keeping money in inappropriate places e.g. in socks, under the pillow, in a pit, in the sitting room, in the bra, in a travel bag that you will place somewhere in a bus ... impulse buying is a devil that will keep you busy!

#Money Mistake 10:
Spending money on an item that you can do without (at least for the time being). These days when I pick money from my pocket or wallet, before paying for something I ask myself: What would happen if I didn’t buy this? If I find I can live with the consequences of not having that thing, I smile and walk away.

#Money Mistake 11:
Paying an amount for something that's not the minimum you can get that same value for. In other words, if you are along lekki road Lagos Boutique and you pay #5K for a shoe that you can get at #3K at Oshodi market, that's a money mistake except for those who have achieved financial freedom.

#Money Mistake 13:
Consistently spending all you earn or more than you earn. It's like having a drum where you have an inlet that's smaller than the outlet. It will never get full. And should the inlet ever reduce significantly the drum will run dry. If you do it the other way round and the inlet is bigger, it will get full and even overflow. Hence, we have to always ensure we are widening the inlet while narrowing the outlet – all the time. Your side hustle comes in handy!

#Money Mistake 14:
Thinking about short-term only and forgetting about long-term or thinking about the long-term and forgetting about the short-term. For instance, Lydia was told that there's money in land. She saved money over a long period of time and bought 30 acres of land. Now she has the land but she is always broke. She is always complaining. She's disgruntled and she doesn't seem to see herself earning from the land in the near future. Now, let's ask ourselves: Having 30 acres of land and no money to feed your family or take a child to hospital, is that wealth or poverty? I think Lydia only looked at long-term needs and forgot that she has short-term needs that require money.

What of those who find they are one paycheck away from salary? Are they thinking about the long-term needs?
Let’s take stock of our finances. How many mistakes are you guilty of? Do you now feel better-equipped to do better with these tips? Good luck, savers! Share this knowledge with your friends because it will not benefit you if you are selfish with it.

[A Must Read] 7 Things You Should Ignore If You Wish To Achieve Your Dreams

Achieving your dreams isn’t easy, you have to brave up and be willing to stand strong to adversity and criticisms.
7 things you should ignore to help you stand strong and achieve your dreams.

1. Difficulties
Rather than dwelling on difficulties, think of solutions. Remember that the time wasted dwelling on difficulties, can be invested in contemplating solutions to bring you out of difficulties. Contemplating solutions helps move you forward, while dwelling on difficulties keeps you stagnant.
2. Critics
There is a popular belief that there are good and bad critics. The good ones criticize constructively, the bad ones criticize destructively.
However, the truth is, the input of individuals who know nothing about your dreams and abilities is useless.
You should therefore ignore these critics, and listen instead to the input of those who not only know about your dreams and abilities, but also believe in you.
Their contribution and advice is worth more than gold because it is sincere, based on an understanding of your personality and the situation, and it is more likely to be helpful when applied.
3. Fears
Just learn to do it afraid. Don’t focus on the fear because it might always be there. The feeling of fear might just not go away, and that’s the point. Your dreams are meant to challenge you to face your fears, they should bring out the best in you and help you grow as a person.
4. Your Peers
Stop comparing yourself to your peers. You are not all going to the same place. Does someone who is going to live in the north-pole pack the same clothes as someone going to live in the desert? It’s a funny analog but if you think deeply about it, you will find truth in it.
Learn to ignore what others are doing and live your own life. If social media is making it difficult for you to do so, take a break from social media or create new social media accounts. Find your path, stay true to your path and avoid unnecessary comparisons.
5. Inner Destructive Critic
Sometimes, the sad truth is you are your own enemy. There is no reason why you should destructively criticize your own self and abilities. Believe in yourself. Be your own cheerleader and you should not, for any reason, bring your own self down.
Don’t be your own enemy and kill your dreams with unnecessary pessimism and negativity.
6. Comfort
Think of it this way, if you are travelling a long distance by air, land or sea, you are not going to feel completely comfortable throughout the journey, but you endure because you know you have to get to your destination.
Apply this mindset in the pursuit of your dreams and you will be able to overcome the number 1 dream killer – comfort. Learn to choose sacrifice and persistence over comfort.
7. Failures
Listen to the lessons of failures but ignore the fear of failure. The fact that you failed once doesn’t guarantee you are going to fail again; if anything, it should ensure your success because you now know what not to do. Learn to allow failure fuel your steps.
